Creating spaces for art

A touch of Brazilian art comes to Germany! The second exhibition in the ifa series "connect" presents "A Gentil Carioca", an art space founded in the centre of Rio de Janeiro in 2003. In Berlin, nine artists associated with "A Gentil Carioca" will be presenting a collaborative artistic installation that affords insights into the mode of operation of the art space as well as into the local art scene involving critical, artistic debates and playful, poetic landscapes.

The exhibition opens at the end of July at ifa's gallery in Berlin and runs until October 10. In November it will be re-opened at ifa's Stuttgart gallery.
